Annie Fassea
 

This season she makes her house debuts at the Royal Opera House, London and the Volksoper, Vienna, singing the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte.

Following her debut at the Greek National Opera – Stavros Niarchos Stage as Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) in 2019, Annie has appeared in leading roles across Europe, including Violetta (La Traviata), Amina (La Sonnambula), Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflöte), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Musetta (La Bohème), Ilia (Idomeneo), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), and Clorinda (La Cenerentola).

On the concert stage, she has been a featured soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with the Greek National Radio Symphony Orchestra (Athens Concert Hall, 2024), the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, the GyÅ‘r Philharmonic (Hungary), and the Athens City Symphony Orchestra. Her concert repertoire also includes Mozart’s Requiem, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, and contemporary works.

Annie studied at the Maria Callas Athenaeum Conservatory in Athens with Christina Giannakopoulou, was a member of the Greek National Opera Young Artists Program, and later received a Fulbright Artist’s Scholarship to study in New York with Metropolitan Opera bass Dimitri Kavrakos.
